Familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) is an autosomal inherited disease caused by a mutation in one of the key genes involved in the catabolism of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C). Based on the type of gene mutation, it is classified into heterozygous FH (HeFH) and homozygous FH (HoFH). The prevalence of HeFH is 1/300–1/250, while the prevalence of HoFH is 1/360,000–1/250,000, making it a rare disease.
24 September is FH Awareness Day each year . FH Awareness Day was established by the International FH Foundation in 2012 to raise awareness of familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) worldwide. During FH Awareness Day, the European FH Foundation released a series of awareness posters.

We have compiled them for you. We welcome everyone to learn about the related content, actively forward and share it, and help raise awareness together!
